WOW! What a successful day to raise money to help a family in need. We washed and dried lots of cars and served lots of hot dogs and drinks. Our goal was to raise $1,000, and when it was all said and done we reached our goal, and in fact raised a total of $1,272 and change. It feels so great to give a few hours and be able to make a significant contribution.
Special thanks to the following:
- Our Affinity Church crew for their help.
- Some new friends Tracy Mullin and her sister in law Candy, and Billy Conquer who served the food.
- Sobey’s and Joe Glover for letting us use their property.
- Will Nash and Laura from KX 96 who came and drummed up lots of customers through their radio station.
- The local community who came out with giving hearts and open wallets…thanks to everyone who helped this day be successful.
