So we have landed safely in CT to visit Jenn’s family. Last week was an awesome week with my family, very restful and refreshing. We had some great times visiting with my parents…it’s funny, the older I get the wiser they get.
Anyway, just wanted to share a few thoughts about our trip so far:
- The kids had a blast at the beach. It was an overcast day, but that did not keep them out of the water.
- Year One sucked even in America (by that I mean we only had to pay $6 per ticket as opposed to $13 in T-town). We got up and walked out, it was that bad!
- Got to hang out with a good friend I hadn’t seen in 12 years.
- Took the kids to see where Jennifer and I first said “I love you”. They were sooooo…disinterested.
- I can say I have seen everything…last night I saw a motorcycle with a “handicap parking sticker’ in the window. I can see it now, “sorry I can’t walk the extra 25 feet because my back hurts from riding my motorcylce all day.”
We are heading out now to go for a swim…got my Borat bikini and I am ready to style!!!
