So Jennifer and I went out yesterday and the high-light of the day turned out to be swinging by Wal-Mart to get a golf ball retriever…
We went to the movies and saw Mamma Mia, a “chick-flick”, but not just a “chick-flick”, one with lots of singing. There is just something about dudes singing and dancing that just doesn’t seem right to me…oh well. I did get lots of popcorn and twizzlers so I had enough to distract me. I was the only guy under 60 and over 20 in the theatre…
We had a great time out though, and I told Jenn when asked if I liked it that, “I didn’t hate it”, I was expecting too. Here’s my observations from the movie.
- Pierce Brosnan struggles to act, he should have never tried to tackle singing too.
- Meryl Streep can sing, I was pretty impressed by that.
- I am a closet fan of the song Dancing Queen.
- Musicals should NOT be allowed into theatres.
- There was a preview for an upcoming Richard Gere movie that looks worse than Mamma Mia, oh and a preview for a movie about windshield wipers-talk about a must-see.
- Jenn LOVED it, that’s all I really care about anyway. I had a great time hanging with you babe…

You know you loved it a lot more than you are letting on! Thanks for taking me to something you cared nothing about. You are awesome! I love you.
Truth be told, Jarret has a man-crush on Pierce Brosnan!
ACK! We saw Dark Knight instead. LOL!
HAHA – you got dragged to the world’s worst chick flick that does not feature Brad Pitt or George Clooney.
Reasons not to see “Mama Mia.”

The Dark Knight was a much better choice…I saw it twice.
TWICE? LOL! It was insanely good. I really wanted to see XFiles….you know…my love affair with Mulder…but Bri really wanted to see Dark Knight so we did that.
